Hoopla

With your Detroit Public Library card, you can use the Hoopla website to access eBooks, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music, comics, manga, magazines, and more!

Get Started

Download the Hoopla app on your phone, tablet, smart TV, or streaming box OR visit the Hoopla website on any device at hoopladigital.com.

Logging In

If you haven't made an account yet, choose "Get Started". You'll be prompted to select your library (search "Detroit Public Library") and set up your account using an email address. You'll need your library card PIN number to complete the setup. If you've forgotten your PIN, call 313-481-1378.

If you've already created an account, choose "Log In". You'll be asked to provide your email and password you created during your account setup. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it with the "Forgot Password" option.

Libby

Access eBooks, audiobooks, comics, manga, and magazines with your library card on Libby! 

Get Started

Download the Libby App on your phone or tablet OR visit the Libby website at libbyapp.com.

Logging In

You'll be prompted to answer whether or not you have a library card. You'll need a library card to use Libby! Click "Yes, I Have A Library Card". You can then "Guess Your Library" if you have location services enabled on your device, or choose "Search For A Library" and look for "Detroit Public Library". 

Next, choose "Sign In With My Card". You'll need your library card PIN number to complete the login. If you've forgotten your PIN, call 313-481-1378.
